WP1 : Establishment of the stakeholder
and communication network (Leader : IAV)

>> Work Program

Objectives

  • To assess and to visualise related European and national research activities and expertise that are important for the new greenhouse generation implementation
  • To investigate and to list relevant stakeholders
  • To contact and to inform the co-ordinators from the most promising research projects related to CYCLER-SUPPORT, to inform them about the project objective and to invite them to the final CYCLER-SUPPORT-WORKSHOP

Tasks

Task 1.1 : Completion of the research activities and expertise assessment
(task leader: TUB)

The most relevant European and national research activities will be completed by a detailed internet investigation and by consulting the co-ordinators of the related research projects and the particular networks of each project partner (accomplished by all project partners). In respect of the final CYCLER-SUPPORT WORKSHOP and of further dissemination of the project results, the information will be edited and visualised by IAV, TTZ and TUB for the different implementation stakeholder target groups and published on the CYLER-SUPPORT web-page (see WP7).

Task 1.2 : Setting up a stakeholder list (task leader: IAV)

IAV with the support of ENIT and ICARDA will investigate and list the relevant stakeholders from the pilote study sites, Agadir in Morocco and Gabès in Tunisia (see WP2-4) and stakeholders from other representative North African and European MED arid regions (contact information, activities, etc.), which are necessary for the new greenhouse generation implementation. This includes the water municipalities, related policy makers, greenhouse farmers, greenhouse designers, related research organisations, related NGOs, and others. TTZ and TUB will list the contacts and activities from the most promising research projects.

Task 1.3 : Informing and inviting the stakeholders (task leader: IAV)

IAV will contact the identified stakeholders (Task 1.2), inform them about the project objectives and invite them to the final CYCLER-SUPPORT WORKSHOP. TTZ will develop an invitation flyer for this (format: pdf).

Deliverables

D01 : State-of-the art assessment report
D02 : List of related stakeholders
D03 : Workshop invitation flyer

Milestones and expected results

M01 : Establishment of the stakeholder and communication network as a basis for the CYCLER WORKSHOP and further dissemination activities and first implementation steps.
